AMGP 2019 Annual Meeting

For the first time, the AMGP Annual Meeting will be a combined meeting with the National Association of Baptist Professors of Religion (NABPR) and the Baptist History and Heritage Society (BHHS). You will have the opportunity to attend not only AMGP sessions but also NABPR and BHHS sessions. An updated meeting schedule, information about hotels and travel, and a registration link scan be found below. The host for our Annual Meeting this year is Campbell University and all meetings will be at the First Baptist Church of Raleigh.

Our guest lecturer for our AMGP sessions will be Dr. Matthew Floding, Director of Ministerial Formation, Duke Divinity School. Dr. Floding is the editor of "Engage: A Theological Field Education Toolkit" and "Welcome to Theological Field Education!"

The Reverend Matthew Floding is director of ministerial formation and field education. He has served as pastor in Illinois, college chaplain in Iowa, and director of formation for ministry at a seminary of the Reformed Church in America in Michigan. Matt also volunteers with a non-profit, Friendship House Partners USA, which works with persons with intellectual disabilities and their families to secure safe, affordable, and community-oriented housing in partnership with divinity schools and seminaries. He is passionate about encouraging leadership development for ministry and vocational discernment. Matthew is an ordained minister of word and sacrament in the Reformed Church in America. He and his wife Marcia are parents to Geoffrey, Kathryn, and Greta.
